In December 2024, HLB 3STAR OH Rose Red calved after being successfully flushed multiple times, resulting in over 20 offspring from six different sires. Rose Red is a result from the 3STAR EmbryoProgram and was transfered as an embryo at Lindenhof Holsteins in Germany. Her dam is 3STAR OH Red Rose VG-85, a direct daughter of Hoogerhorst DG OH Rubels-Red and a full sister to internationally recognized sires such as 3STAR OH Ranger Red, Koepon OH Ryder Red, and Koepon OH Robin Red.
Notable offspring of Rose Red include HLB 3STAR OH Roosje P Red, the highest ranked Clark P daughter with a score of 162 gRZG (140 gRZN/125 gRZE), HLB 3STAR OH Rosalinde P Red, a Can PP RDC with a score of 159 gRZG, who was sold at the VOST Select Sale 12. Additionally, there is the polled HLB 3STAR Rosella P Red, by Handout P, who tested at 155 gRZG. Both Roosje P Red and Rosella P Red are set to be flushed for contracts and the 3STAR Embryo Program.
Aside from Camden daughter Rose Red, her full brother, Cogent 3STAR OH Rock Red, was born in England and semen has been sold at Cogent. Within just 200 days, Rose Red, scored GP-83/DE, managed to produce 8,000 kg of milk with 4.91% fat and 3.53% protein!
