New TPI toppers for GenHotel members
HIN Macao EX-90 (s. Let It Snow), broodcow in the pedigree of Wilder Mara
The September genomic proof run in America has resulted in great rankings in the top 50 gTPI females in Europe for GenHotel members Wilder Holsteins, Koepon Genetics and WKF Holsteins.
Wilder Mara, bred by the Holtkamp family, Vreden, occupies the 4th place this month with 3394 gTPI and is therefore one of the highest Beyond Hi-Note daughters in Europe. Her dam, Wilder 78128, is an early Peak Powerhouse daughter from the high producing HIN Mogli EX-90 cow family. Mara scores extremely high for fat production; 888 pounds of milk and +0.25%F, resulting in 116 lbs of fat! In addition, she has an almost flawless linear and a type score of +1.12 PTAT.
At Koepon Genetics, it is another descendant of the very successful Red Range family who knows how to profile herself. Koepon Snazzy Range 448, a daughter of Pen-Col AltaSnazzy out of the due to calve Koepon Wargear Range 287, scores 3346 gTPI with a whopping 187 pounds of fat & protein. Next dam is Koepon Gameday Range 133 VG-86, who is projected in her 2nd lactation (in 305 days) on 14,000 kg of milk with 4.5% fat and 3.8% protein. Range 133 is a granddaughter of the phenomenal brood cow Lakeside UPS Red Range-Red VG-86, the Global Red Impact Cow 2021.
WKF H Maud P is one of the higher polled females in Europe with 3273 gTPI. Her sire, Siemers Fgo Holy P (Figaro x Luster P), is a grandson of Siemers Doc Hanan EX-92. Maud her dam, WKF Hypno Maud, is a calved, early Cookiecutter Hypnotic out of 3STAR OH Maline VG-85, a Peak AltaZazzle granddaughter of the well-known brood cow K&L OH Mabel. Maud P, owned by WKF Holsteins, shows high components, favorable health traits and +1.90 PTAT in her genomic result and is the number 2 gTPI Holy P in Europe.
The highest red-and-white female in Europe this month is 3STAR RM Dagna Red, a 3STAR OH Shield daughter out of HIN Dawn RDC, a pregnant red carrier Cookiecutter Holysmokes heifer, purchased at the SonderKollektion 2024, scoring high in many countries. Dagna Red, bred by Rimaster Holsteins and 3STAR Genetics, is one of the highest red-and-white Shield RDC daughters in Europe with 3093 gTPI, +1.53 UDC & +1.40 PTAT. Dawn RDC's granddam, HIN Domino P RDC VG-88, is a full sister of the German polled, daughterproven sire HIN Sorelio P Red.
