432 gNVI from the renowned Jelykoe cow family

A promising new generation from a proven cow family. Bred by Veenhouwer-Mulder (VMO Holsteins), the young VMO Jessica 2 combines a remarkable 432 gNVI with a pedigree rooted in the renowned Jelykoe cow family.

This one month old VH Sitron daughter ranks among the current top Holstein females for gNVI. Her genomic profile includes +2358 kg milk, +99 kg fat, +93 kg protein and 697 INET. She also shows a strong health profile, with 105 for claw health, 107 for udder health and 105 for fertility. Her type profile is well balanced, scoring 102 for total type.

Jessica 2 traces via the second calver VMO Judith (s. Rammstein Red) and VMO Judith 1 VG-86 (s. Nippon P) Jelykoe EX-90 through multiple generations back to Jelykoe EX-90 and Tidy-Brook Elton Steph VG-86.

The Jelykoe family has a long track record in Holstein breeding. The family produced bulls such as Dukefarm K&L Balthazar @Semex and K&L ST Juan @ Intermizo, while a full sister of Padkaer RZG Julie was the dam of Big Point, who ranked as the number 1 bull for RZG in April 2017. Big Point grew into an influential sire with over 21.000 female offspring across Europe.

With VMO Jessica 2, another promising branch of this family is emerging. Her combination of very high gNVI, a strong health profile and a deep, provn pedigree makes this young female one to watch.
