Once again, international success for 3STAR Poppe Gigantic! The Gladius son, bred by Poppe Holsteins and GenHotel, once again tops the latest Spanish ICO ranking. With 1245 ICO, Gigantic remains the number one daughter-proven sire in Spain.
The success in Spain goes even further: the somewhat older sires K&L SV Adrian Salvatier (Salvatore RC) and Tirsvad Hotspot Hondo (Hotspot P) are also holding their ground comfortably in the top 10. Salvatier ranks 6th with 1226 ICO, while Hondo takes 7th place with 1220 ICO, based on more than 1,400 daughters. Having three sires from the GenHotel members’ network in the Spanish top 10 is once again an impressive achievement!

The strong points of this pitch-black powerhouse are particularly his milk production (+1003 kgM with +0.40% fat and +0.21% protein), 120 for longevity, good udders and above-average milking speed. These figures are based on his first 70 milking daughters.
Gigantic also comes from a proven cow family. He is a son of Poppe K&L Gorgina, who traces back through KHE I'm Good VG-88 to the well-known KHE Island VG-89 family. KHE I'm Good produced an impressive 87,379 kg of milk during her lifetime and developed into a true breeding cow, appearing in the pedigrees of several successful AI sires.
