Many new top gTPI females bred by GenHotel members
3STAR OH Leica VG-86, 2nd dam of De Oosterhof 3STAR Limona
During the September genomic run in America, many females bred by GenHotel members received high TPI results.
The Oosterhof 3STAR Limona (by Progenesis Watchman) is the number one Watchman in Europe this month with 3572 gTPI and 1130 NM and the number 2 of all Watchman daughters tested in Europe so far. She scores very well for production and positive for the health traits, as well as for conformation. Her granddam, 3STAR OH Leica VG-86 is an AltaWheelhouse with 4.00% protein in her 2nd lactation. The dam line goes back to the legendary brood cow Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence EX-95. 3TAR OH Lorae (a Watchman x Sheepster, with 3481 gTPI) and 3STAR OH Lotty (Lyrics x Sheepster, with 3460 gTPI) also come from the same line, which has also produced high bulls such as Topstone, Doble RDC and Ranger-Red.
Zandenburg Holsteins also has 3 newly genomic tested females in the top 50 gTPI in Europe this month. Zandenburg Hi-Note Hispan scores the highest Beyond Hi-Note in Europe with 3545 gTPI, partly due to high scores for fertility and udder health. Because of her balanced frame breeding values, she also manages to record +2.08 HCC. Her dam, Zandenburg Sheepster Hispa will calve at the end of this month. Another daughter of Hispa, Zandenburg Primero Hispanja, is the number 2 Peak Primero daughter this month with 3428 gTPI. She also has very favorable health traits: +6.3 PL, 2.52 SCS and +1.8 DPR, and also +2.22 HCC. The Hispanja line of the Sommers family goes back to the well-known Jocko daughter KNS Helsinki VG-89. From another strong cow family, that of Beachlawn Belwood Lily EX-93, comes Zandenburg Hi-Note Leann, scoring 3430 gTPI and also +2.02 HCC.
The highest Aurora Howland P daughter in Europe is called 3STAR Melisa. She achieves her 3434 gTPI through the combination of 110 pounds of fat & protein and favorable scores for the management traits. Her dam, 3STAR OH Magia RDC (by Sheepster), calved in August and starts well. Her third dam is the proven brood cow Pen-Col Superhero Mistral EX-91.
Wilder Anuk, a Watchman x Enclave by Wilder Holsteins, scores 3428 gTPI due to extremely high components and above-average scores for her health proofs. With Enclave x Frost Bite she also has an alternative pedigree. Anuk is a descendant of Pen-Col Ss Buffy VG-85 (by Supersire), granddam of K&L OH Bellwether and Topmodel, among others.
Also in the top 50 gTPI of Europe in September is Oosterbrook Poplar Lauren, an Aurora Sheepster Poplar with 3405 gTPI, owned by the Heijink family, Laren (Gld). Lauren also achieves her top gTPI due to high components and favorable scores for the health traits. She comes from the American cow family of Unicorn Blackstar Lilly VG-87. Glind Holsteins High Lilly, a Beyond Hi-Note half-sister of Lauren's dam, was sold for 19,000 euros at the HighlightSale 2026 in Hamm at the beginning of this year.
Highest Red Holstein for gTPI this month in Europe is Koepon Hrock Range 576 Red, a Trent-Way Hayk Hard Rock RDC daughter with 3201 gTPI. Her dam, Koepon Tricky Range 338 Red, calved at the end of August and looks promising. Via a VG-86 Gameday and a GP-84 AltaDateline, of course this line traces back to the well known proven brood cow Lakeside Ups Red Range-Red VG-86, the Global Red Impact Cow 2021.
