Schuit Solana P Red VG-86, 3rd dam of Sharon 8 P Red
A promising young red polled heifer from a proven cow family: Diepenhoek Sharon 8 P Red immediately stands out with her high genomic breeding values. The daughter of SHV Vino P RDC scores an impressive 158 gRZG and 391 gNVI.
Born in July, Sharon 8 P Red combines her high RZG and NVI with an interesting health and production profile. In Germany, she scores 158 gRZG, including +612M, +0.82% fat and +0.42% protein, 128 gRZN, 117 RZR and an RZ€ of 2860. In the Netherlands, she records 391 gNVI, with +1359M, +0.38% fat, +0.23% protein and 596 INET.
Her dam, Diepenhoek Sharon 1 Red, the No. 1 Fashion P Red daughter for RZG, is expected to calve for the first time in January. As a young heifer, Sharon 1 Red was already contracted by RUW and subsequently produced more than 20 embryos sired by Swat P RDC and Vino P RDC.
Further back in the pedigree, we find several noteworthy cows. Sharon 8 P Red is a granddaughter of 3STAR SIE Sharon Red VG-86, who herself combined high breeding values with strong production results. She was purchased by the Adriaans family at the 2023 SonderKollektion, and they have since successfully developed their own strong breeding line from her. Third dam Schuit Solana Red VG-86 has been milked at De Wijde Blik Holsteins since her first calving and is still present in the herd at six years of age, now in her fourth lactation (Life: 45.679 kgM, 4.41% fat, 3.63% protein). This high-indexing Vino P RDC family ultimately traces back to Radieuse EX-91.
With her combination of polledness and high genomic breeding values for both RZG and NVI, Diepenhoek Sharon 8 P Red represents an interesting new generation from this proven family.
