Several high TPI results females in July!
Zwanebloem Taos Ruth VG-87, granddam of 2 top gTPI heifers
During the July run in America, several females bred by GenHotel members received high genomic results.
3STAR Magsterlight, a Progenesis Torchlight out of 3STAR OH Magster (by Sheepster), scores 3465 gTPI and 1085 NM. This makes her the number 1 gTPI Torchlight this month and the number 1 NM of all tested Torchlight daughters in Europe. Her granddam, 3STAR OH Magnio RDC VG-85 (by Ranger-Red), has 10 (half-)brothers in AI and descends from the American Gold-N-Oaks S Marbella VG-89 family. Magsterlight her full sister, 3STAR Maggylight, is also in the top 10 newly genomic tested females in July, with 3433 gTPI and 997 NM.
At Zwanebloem Holsteins, family Masscheleyn in Flanders, the Leadmae family is also very successful in the TPI rankings. Zwanebloem Hi-Note Ruth is the number 1 Beyond Hi-Note in Europe with 3455 gTPI and 940 NM. She scores well for production, conformation and health traits and is a descendant of the well-known American brood cow Whittier-Farms Lead Mae EX-95. From the same dam line comes Zwanebloem Golley Rua, a Beyond Shpstr Golley out of Zwanebloem Powerstar Rua 3 (by Peak Powerstar). With 3405 gTPI, she is the number 1 of all Golley daughters tested in Europe so far. Both Ruth and Rua have as granddam the high producing Leaninghouse Taos daughter Zwanebloem Taos Ruth 2470 VG-87.
In July, the first European Aurora Lyrics daughters also received an American genomic result. 3STAR OH Lora scores 3386 gTPI and is the highest Lyrics to date. Her dam 3STAR OH Lolita (by Sheepster) calved in April and starts promisingly. Her maternal line goes back to the Donna RDC VG-89 (by Rubicon), dam of the former number 1 bull Topstone, among others. Her niece 3STAR OH Lonely (by Torchlight) also scores 3371 gTPI, with a similar profile.
The highest daughter of Peak Expedia this month is at Koepon Genetics. Koepon Expedia Range 557 scores 3356 gTPI, via an all-round genomic profile. Her dam is Koepon Reality Range 369 RF, who calved in June and one of the highest Denovo Reality RDCs in Europe, from the highly successful Lakeside Ups Red Range VG-86 family.
In the top 50 gTPI females in Europe for July, with 3342 gTPI, Wilder Tali, the highest OCD Sheepster Eeyore, is also included. Tali, owned by the Holtkamp family, has a solid production proof and traces back to the well-known American brood cow MS Welcome Colby Taya VG-88.
