Again, GenHotel members are populating the NVI lists with their genetics!
KHE I’m Good VG-88 produces another NVI leader!
August witnessed a remarkable official female gNVI index run, as the compiled top lists revealed. In both the Holstein and Red Holstein tested population, the leading rankings were filled with heifers bred by GenHotel members. We would like to share an overview of this success.
At the top, we have 3STAR HWH Britt P Red, a consistent frontrunner. This 500 gNVI (1471 LVD) testing daughter of Koepon Simply-Red was bred by HWH Holsteins and GenHotel from the Misty Springs MB Brighter Red cow family. Right after receiving her first genomic results, Britt P Red impressed the industry. During the 2025 Sunrise Sale, this polled Simply-Red sold for €56,000 to Qnetics/Hewecker/HWH Holsteins. Following the August run, Britt P Red tested 160 gRZG along with her outstanding 500 gNVI, cementing her position as a leader in the polled red-and-white segment. Her full sister, 3STAR HWH Bibby Red (HWH & 3STAR), also ranks among the top performers with an impressive 478 gNVI and 155 gRZG!
Following Britt P Red, the next positions closely followed by four more daughters of the leading bull Simply-Red (bred by Koepon). Zandenburg Simply Fabiola Red (Simply-Red x Mask Red) received an interim result in July bu claimed the second place in August with a gNVI of 491. The Fabiola cow family, owned by the Sommers family, has produced several high gNVI offspring in recent years. For instance, Mask Fabiola 1 Red, the dam of the current number 2 gNVI red-and-white, was also among the top Red Holsteins of her age.
Additionally, from the allround and polled Koepon Arizona Range 240 P DC, Koepon bred the number 3 gNVI R&W, Koepon Simply Range 434 Red. This Simply daughter, coming from the Lakeside Ups Red Range/De Oosterhof Dg Rose RDC cow family, is potentially one of the most complete red heifers currently listed. She boasts an impressive gNVI of 481, along with 159 gRZG and 3047 gTPI. Range 434 Red's milk inheritance is particularly remarkable, with exceptional scores: 3388M (Germany), 1585 lbs (USA), and an eye-popping 4557M in the NVI system. Notably, the top five Simply-Red daughters average a milk transmittion of +3440M, showcasing this young sire of sons as a premier milk bull.
From the Doma branch of the Scientific Debutante Rae EX-92 cow family, Koepon produced the Reality RC daughter Koepon Reality Doma 100 Red, which scores 442 gNVI, 153 gRZG, and 3030 gTPI. This heifer comes out of a high-producing Ranger-Red dam who has recently been photographed and has generated many excellent offspring for Koepon.

he current number one CR 7 P Red daughter for RZG, VMO Lisa 9012 P Red, continues to rank among the top Red Holsteins. In December 2024, Lisa 9012 P Red, which is a Wilder Kanu 111 RDC VG-88 offspring, was the highest polled heifer for NVI R&W. This CR 7 P Red daughter now boasts a score of 414 gNVI and 160 gRZG. Schreur Holsteins has also successfully bred a well-scoring polled heifer calf, Schreur Classy 1 P Red, a Delta Primetime PP Red daughter from the Koepon Classy family, who scores 388 gNVI. Her dam, Koepon Ranger Classy 494 RDC VG-86 (by Ranger Red), was purchased during the Koepon Summer Sale in 2022 and has since produced eight female offspring, six of whom are polled.
For Holstein, we have a new leader: VH Sitron daughter 3STAR Poppe Gerry. This heifer calf is a great-great-granddaughter of the renowned brood cow KHE I'm Good VG-88 and is part of the KHE Island cow family. With an impressive score of 466 gNVI, Gerry now holds the top position. Not only is she the highest-ranked heifer in the Netherlands/Flanders, but with 158 gRZG, she is also the top-ranking Sitron daughter in the German system.
Closely related to sire Delta Remedy is Peelsehoeve Pietje 1126 (Dealmaker x Gladius). Bred by the Nooijen family, she is the new number two for B&W gNVI with a total index of 451. Her dam is a fresh second-calf KAX Gladius daughter with outstanding production and classified with VG-86. She is connected to the bull Remedy as his maternal-sister.

Another notable debutant is WKF RS Malissa (Real Syn x Revolution), which secures third place with an index of 447 gNVI (1133 LVD). Malissa's roots trace back to the esteemed K&L OH Mabel. The Real Syn also shows a commendable score of 155 gRZG.
The Zandenburg Fabiola cow family brings forth another top performer in the Holstein list, as Zandenburg Hardin Fabiola, a Beyond Overdo Hardin daughter, ranks fourth with a score of 440 gNVI. Notable features include her high milk inheritance rate of 2340M and 1036 LVD. Hardin Fabiola was also tested in America, bringing a result of 3168 gTPI.
After several months, 3STAR OH Minny RDC retains her top position. The Simply-Red daughter from the K&L OH Mabel line stands out with a score of 437 gNVI. The nine months old Minny RDC is a remarkable all-rounder, showcasing an impeccable genomic profile that includes 150 gRZG and 3105 gTPI.
