VG-85 2-yr-old from an influential Red Holstein family!
HLB 3STAR Rosette P Red (CR 7 P Red)
HLB 3STAR Rosette P Red represents a promising new generation from one of the most influential Red Holstein families in Europe. The young milker was jointly bred by Lindenhof Holsteins, De Oosterhof and GenHotel and is the result of the successful 3STAR BreedingProgram by GenHotel.
Rosette P Red, who calved at just 1 year and 10 months of age, combines a strong conformation profile with high genomic potential. Her type figures are particularly impressive, scoring 125 for frame, 120 for feet & legs and 130 for RZE. She also appears to be living up to these figures in reality, having recently been classified VG-85 , with an impressive 86 score for her mammary.
Behind Rosette P Red lies an impressive cow family. Her dam, HLB 3STAR OH Rose Red GP-83, is a Koepon Camden RDC daughter that produced more than 12,000 kg of milk in 305 days. She is also the dam of the AI sire HLB 3STAR Crawford Red, Rosette’s full brother. One generation further back is 3STAR OH Red Rose VG-85 (Rubels-Red), who produced more than 13,600 kg of milk in 305 days in her third lactation. She is a full sister to 3STAR OH Ranger Red, marketed by Semex, and the dam of Cogent sire Cogent 3STAR OH Rock-Red.
The next generation takes us to Lakeside Ups Red Range VG-86 – a name that has become synonymous with breeding success in Red Holstein. Red Range was named Global Red Impact Cow 2021 and Dutch Cow of the Year 2026 and has delivered no fewer than 16 sons to AI, including the aforementioned 3STAR OH Ranger-Red, as well as Koepon OH Ryder Red and Koepon AltaRefine Red. She has also produced numerous exceptionally high daughters.
The tremendous demand for females from this family further underlines its breeding value. Several of Rosette P Red’s sisters have been intensively flushed to spread this genetics even further, while other sisters have attracted attention at prestigious sales:
