Sudena Holsteins celebrates a great show day

The local Fokveedag Vriezenveen may be behind us, but for Sudena Holsteins, it still feels recent. They participated in the show with a large number of animals and returned home with some well desirved titles.

In the intermediate class, the two week fresh Sudena Lieke 6 Red secured second place in her class. This VG-86 Ranger-Red daughter has already delivered several strong performances in the show ring as a 2-yrold and continues to draw the judges' attention in this lactation. She is out of the highly productive VG-86 Surefire, Lieke 3. Lieke 3 (lifetime production 65,000 kgM) also competed in the oldest class of seniors, where she took second place in a highly competitive field. Lieke 6 traces back to Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence EX-95 on both her paternal- and maternal side.

The dairy farmers of Vriezenveen and the surrounding area have been able to create a production class for several years now. This category judges cows with a lifetime production of 70,000 kg/m or more. The Mensink family of Sudena Holsteins presented two cows: Sudena Abel Maui VG-89 by King Abel (4th lactation) and the world-renowned brood cow De Oosterhof DG Rose RDC VG-89 (6th lactation)! The fourth-calf Wesswood-HC Rudy Missy EX-92 offspring, Abel Maui, was crowned the best-uddered cow in the category and received the title of Reserve Production Class Champion.
