Unique double victory for Drouner Holsteins
Drouner Cosmo 2238 (Salute x EX-91 Aligator)
The FDV Wintershow in March turned into a highlight for Drouner Holsteins. Earlier, GenHotel.nl already reported on the success of Drouner Cosmo 1836 EX‑91, who claimed the title of Grand Champion at this show. That achievement received an impressive follow‑up at the very same event, as her daughter Drouner Cosmo 2238 also secured the highest honour in the Junior championships.
This outstanding result marked a rare double victory for Drouner Holsteins: both dam and daughter crowned Grand Champion at the same show. A clear confirmation of the strength and consistency of this proven Cosmo cow family.
Drouner Cosmo 1836 EX‑91 has firmly established herself as a leading show cow in recent years. Her Grand Championship had already been highlighted earlier on our website as a testament to her exceptional quality. The next generation proved to be equally impressive. Drouner Cosmo 2238 (sired by Salute) was crowned Junior Grand Champion at the same FDV Wintershow. The jury praised her youthful appearance, correct legs and feet, width and femininity – traits that offer tremendous promise for the future.
The pedigree behind these successes speaks for itself. Through Alligator, Darlingo and Beemer, the maternal line traces back to Drouner AJDH Cosmo EX‑92, a foundation cow renowned for generations of quality, durability and show success. A cow family that continues to deliver, generation after generation, both in the showring and in breeding.

In the finals, the young Salute daughter faced competition from her stablemate Drouner Aiko 2241 Red, an early Londaly Jasper Red daughter out of the VG‑89 classified Drouner Aiko 1816 Red (by Diamondback RC). Both calves claimed victory in their respective classes. Ultimately, the young Aiko family member (Jasper Red x Diamondback RDC x EX‑91 Olympian RC x VG‑87 Freddie x EX‑91 Goldwyn x Durham Altitude RDC EX‑95) was awarded the Reserve Junior Championship
