Miss Betuwe Title again won by Willem's Hoeve Holsteins

Team Willem's Hoeve Holsteins with the 3 Champion cows
The De Jong family of Willem's Hoeve Holsteins was once again extremely successful at the Avondbloesem Show, with the icing on the cake the title of Miss Betuwe, which went to the De Jong family for the 12th time and to a Rita for the 9th time!
The De Jong family was successful in all areas; it started with the youth, where Nick de Jong became Reserve Champion in leading heifers.
The special named heifer Willem's Hoeve Rita D&A40j 3129 (born on Dick and Anneke de Jong's 40th wedding anniversary) became Reserve Champion in the heifer category. This Haniko daughter traces back via Doorman, Duplex, and Bradnick to the famous Cricket daughter Willem's Hoeve Rita 670 EX-91, who was successful twice at the HHH Show (Heifer Champion and Reserve Champion Middle Class and General Honorable Mention) and was Champion 2nd Calf Cows at the Avondbloesem Show in 2015 and Champion Older cows in 2016!
In the middle class, Willem's Hoeve Rita 2679 (Willem's Hoeve Viano x G-87 Diamondback x VG-85 Atwood x Willem's Hoeve Rita 579 EX-91 (Sanchez)) took the win, and thanks to public votes, she also managed to become Miss Betuwe 2026!!
The honorable mention older cows went to Willem's Hoeve Rita 1529 P RF (s., Apoll), perfectly presented by Nick de Jong, and Willem's Hoeve Rita 2438 became Reserve Champion among the parent cows. Willem's Hoeve Rita 243 is an EX-91 Remington x GP-84 Dazzel x VG-86 Jetset x VG-86 Chevrolet. The Chevrolet is Willem's Hoeve Rita 1162, also the dam of Willem's Hoeve Rita 1529 P RF!
Thus, it turned out to be a wonderful evening for Team Willem's Hoeve!
