Ginger Red: unbeatable RZG leader for five times now!

The August 2025 index run started today with exciting news, featuring new lists that included several bulls from the Low Countries. The big highlight was the release of the German RZG lists, showing that many top bulls from the Netherlands still lead the rankings. A key example is De Sanderij Ginger-Red, a Gywer RDC son exported by GenHotel. He has been the number one proven Red Holstein sire for five runs in a row now!

GO TO THE PROOF RUN OF AUGUSTUS

Proven sires: With an impressive increase of 200 lactating daughters in his index and an RZG of 143, Ginger Red has firmly established his position at the top, remaining unbeaten across five index runs. As a young genomic bull, this Dutch-bred Massia offspring quickly rose to prominence among breeders and dairy farmers alike. GenHotel sold and exported this outstanding red Gywer son to his current owner and AI station, Qnetics. His total index now draws from the performance data of over 500 lactating daughters, proving he is an outstanding milk producer, a leg improver, and an ideal choice for farms employing automatic milking systems.

In second place is Visstein K&L Ghost Red (Gywer x Salvatore). Although this bull dropped 3 points in his total index, he is still popular for his fertility, longevity, and calving ease.
