Zwanebloem Holsteins breeds highest Peak Powerstar daughter!

The new U.S. female genomic results for January 2024 delivered great results for GenHotel members! Within the top 50 newly tested females this month are several heifers bred by De Oosterhof, Koepon Genetics, Zwanebloem Holsteins and 3STAR Genetics! Compared to December, there are again a large number of daughters of bull sire STGen Cowen Thorson at the top of the European gTPI list.
The number 1 gTPI of January is a STGen Outreach x Captain with 3201 gTPI, originating from the Czech Republic. The highest ranked OCD Parfect Figaro daughter in Europe is now 3STAR Marilse with 3122 gTPI. She is not only the highest daughter of this bull in Europe, but Marilse - bred by GenHotel - is also the current number 1 gNVI Black & White of all females in the Netherlands and Flanders! Also for the De Oosterhof 3STAR Marstar from the same family there was a great result, with 3105 gTPI, +6.8 PL and A2A2. Marilse and Marstar are descendants of the well-known bull dam family of Gold-N-Oaks Morty Malibu EX-94 and both have the multiple bull dam Pen-Col Superhero Mistral EX-91 as 3rd dam.
The highest European Peak Powerstar daughter for gTPI comes from the herd of Zwanebloem Holsteins. This Zwanebloem Powerstar 3184 is in the top 25 of January with 3113 gTPI / 1080 NM$ / +5.3 PL / +2.06 PTAT. Powerstar 3184 stems from the Canadian Sunnylodge Prelude Spottie family via 5th dam DKR Bayla VG-86. Her dam is the first calf Zwanebloem Parfect Bandida with still 2905 gTPI! With 3071 gTPI, Zwanebloem Kahn Honey 3129 is the highest Wilra Gameday Kahn this month and the number 3 of all tested Kahn daughters in Europe. Honey comes from the Global Cow of the Year family Snow-N-Denises Dellia EX-95.
Koepon also has several top gTPI results again this month. Koepon Wargear Range 287 (War Gear x Gameday), from the renowned Golden-Oaks Mark Pruduce EX-95 cow family, is in the top 50 gTPI January with a score of 3079 gTPI / 1118 NM$. Granddam is the multiple bull dam Koepon Altuve Range 6 RDC GP-84, who is not only gaining ground in Europe through her male, but also through her female offspring! Other toppers for Koepon are also the two highest red-and-white results of January, namely 2964 gTPI for Koepon Foundation Range 280 Red (Foundation RDC x Parfect) and Koepon Tricky Range 290 Red (Tricky-Red x Parfect) with 2963 gTPI. Both also originate from the Red Range line of the Prudence family.
