Joy Now RDC VG-86 is still in the game!

The now nine-year-old Jow Now RDC VG-86 is still of great influence within the herd of Schreur Holsteins. This is recently confirmed again with the birth of her 10th offspring Schreur Joy 13 Red. This Rammstein Red daughter was tested on NVI basis shortly after her birth, which recently delivered a stunning result.

With no less than 354 gNVI Schreur Joy 13 Red her index is far above her parent average! Where sire DG DV Rammstein Red with 331 gNVI is the current number 7 red & white genomics sire of the moment, the one-month-old, Rammstein Red daughter from the snow-white VG-86 Go Now RF rises more than 20 points above her sire. In addition, she transmits more than 3,000 kgsM with 767 gINET and 650 days for longevity! This makes her the number 4 red gNVI and the number 1 R&W female based on INET in The Netherlands & Flanders!

The current lifetime production of brood cow Joy Now RDC VG-86 is in seven lactations at 67,536 kgsM 4.64%F & 3.61%P. The Topspeed Go Now RF hails in five generations from Benner Aeroline Jemima VG-86. This originally Canadian cow family is known from Benner Luke Jean, Benner Aeroline Jamima, Benner Outside Joyce and Benner Goldwyn Jamarco. With Joy Now's sire track (Go Now RF x VG-85 Shamrock x VG-87 Man-O-Man x EX-91 Goldwyn) she has an unique pedigree for Red Holstein.

As an maiden heifer calf, the Go Now RF was brought from Germany to the Netherlands by Schreur Holsteins. This Jemina descendant was possibly one of the first red factor carriers from this cow family at the time. Back in 2015, Joy Now RDC scored a whopping 154 gRZG, which equated to more than 160 gRZG on the R&W basis! Her new owner, Reurslag, used her as an important key to power-up their herd and was several times in order to get multiple offspring from her. The counter now stands at 10 offspring, including the red Anreli-Red son Schreur Victoria Red at the Dutch KI Kampen, Schreur Apoll P-daughter Schreur Joy P RDC which was already good for VG-87 as a 2-yr-old and the freshly second calver Schreur Joy 8 RDC VG-85 (by Schreur Shimmer RDC).
