Gladius daughter HET Gladius Cherise, bred by Hans Hurkmans, made an impressive mark at the HighlightSale in 2022. This sale presented a unique opportunity to acquire her, as Cherise excelled in rankings, achieving the top position in both gRZG & gRZ€, and securing third place in the gNVI rankings at that time. Her outstanding qualities were reflected in her record sale price of €67,000, invested by the German AI station RUW. There, Cherise has continued to impress with her consistent, high-quality results through her offering.
The demand for Cherise, with her impressive A2A2/BB, 2884 gTPI, 173 gRZG, 408 gNVI as of December 2021, was tremendous. She comes from the prestigious Roccafarm Beacon Chrissy VG-87/Larcrest Juror Chanel EX-93 cow family, known for breeding cows with great conformation and exceptional milk production. Numerous female offspring from this line have achieved remarkable prices at various European sales in recent years.
After her successful sale, Cherise was flushed for the RUW breeding program, resulting in several high-scoring daughters, such as RUW Cherie, an Arizona daughter boasting 164 gRZG (#1 Arizona daughter), RUW Chassi (Real Syn) with 159 gRZG, and GIN RUW Chenoa, who impressively holds a 3138 gTPI (Powerhouse). Perhaps her most significant achievement yet is RUW GIN Topchamp, a Champion son with an outstanding 162 gRZG. This pitch-black bull currently stands as the 8th place of all genomics bulls in Germany and is extensively used in flush programs. Topchamp boasts awesome figures: 3249 gRZ€, 142 gRZN, 159 gZÖko, and 133 gRZGes, all while transmitting an impressive 2132 kgM of milk.

Cherise is in her first lactation, and she has proven her genetic superiority in the milking parlour as well with a remarkable 305-day lactation of 16115 kgM, with 4.66% fat and 3.79% protein. This beautifully uddered 2-yr-old has received scores of 87FR, 84DS, 86MS, and 84FL, achieving a VG-85 classification score. She is now the 10th consecutive generation of her lineage to earn VG/EX. Currently, this Gladius daughter, with 157 RZG and a TPI of 3047, remains the undisputed number 1 Gladius!
