Veneriete Goldwins Star VG-87
Herd classification at Veneriete Holsteins went really well end December. Veneriete Bowser Star 5, a 3rd lactation Bowser daughter, was classified VG-88. Star 5 also placed 2nd in her class at the HHH-Show early December behind the Intermediate Champion Veenhuizer Gold One EX-91. The dam to Star 5 is Veneriete Goldwins Star, a VG-87 Goldwyn daughter of Veneriete O Man Seppie VG-86 (O Man) and that makes her a full sister to the proven bull Veneriete 252 Tempo @ CRV.
Goldwins Star turns out to be a very good broodcow. Besides Star 5 two more daughters of Goldwins Star where classified. Her 2nd lactation Explode daughter was classified VG-87 and her 1st lactation Shaw daughter received VG-85. Goldwins Star also has daughters by Boston, Eminem and Persuader who are classified VG.
Ida 6
Several cows from the Ida family got classified as well. Veneriete Surprise Ida 26 is a 3rd lactation Surprise daughter that went VG-87. Her dam, Veneriete Shottle Ida 6 VG-88, is one of the most important broodcows at Veneriete Holsteins. She is 2,5 month fresh in her 4th lactation and looks very good. Also classified VG-87, but as a 2-yr old, is Veneriete Cosmo Ida 79. She is a O-Cosmopolitan daughter of Veneriete Goldwin Ida 22, a VG-87 Goldwyn sister to Shottle Ida 6.
