Holbra Malon 16 EX-90: champion & bull dam!
Following her championship in the production class at the 2026 Fokveedag Bathmen/Laren, Holbra Malon 16 EX-90 was photographed. The Hartley daughter, bred by the Holmer family, combines high lifetime production with outstanding components and an impressive breeding background.
Now in her sixth lactation, Malon 16 has produced more than 77,000 kg of milk. She once again demonstrated her qualities at the regional show, where she claimed the production class title. With EX-90 for overall conformation and EX-90 for her mammary system, she is an impressive cow in every aspect.
Malon 16 is also making her mark in breeding. She is the dam of Holbra Sané (s. Shakespeare), a bull at KI Samen known for transmitting high components and good conformation. In doing so, she continues the tradition of the influential Prudence family, which has produced generations of cows combining strong production, excellent components and conformation.
Malon 16 is a granddaughter of the renowned brood cow Holbra Malon 3 VG-88 and one of six milking, classified daughters of Holbra Malon 9 VG-88 (s. Board). These daughters average VG-87. Through Holbra Malon and Holbra Pam, the maternal line traces back to the famous Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence EX-95. With sixteen generations of VG- or EX-classified cows, this family demonstrates its lasting breeding strength.
