Great broodcow: Green-Valley Allure

Edwin Kurstjens (Voorhof Holsteins) bought Green-Valley Allure at the K&L Selection Sale in June 2008. It appears to a super investment!

Green-Valley Allure  is now known as one of the best broodcows for R&W breeding! She has no less then 6 sons in AI! The first sons will get a daughter proven index soon. In the maternal line she shows her strenght as well! The first 7 daughters in milk are classified with an average of 85.4 points for type! Her Elburn daughter Voorhof Allure 5 even was classified VG-88! These daughters produce 25 % above the herd average!

The first grandsons are in AI already as well, for example Garden RDC (gRZG 156) at RUW, bred by Colonia Cows  out of Voorhof Allure 2 (Elburn). Garden RDC is the No. 2 Red carrier bull on RZG and heavily used as sire of sons! Voorhof Allure 2 her full sister is Voorhof Allure 4, her Can Be son Case (gRZG 148) is also at RUW.

The next generation is there and ready to go! Voorhof Allure 4 VG-85 and Voorhof Allure 5 VG-88 both have a red carrier Fanatic daughter with high indexes in Germany. For example Voorhof Allure 20 will be flushed soon for client of K&L.

Another very interesting heifer is Voorhof Allure 29-Red. She is a red and white Brekem daughter with an extremely high RZG of 153. Her dam is a Colt P daughter out of Voorhof Allure VG-85 (Fiction x Green-Valley Allure.) She belongs to the highest females of her generation!

At Colonia Cows there is also interesting progeny of Voorhof Allure 2Col Alina RDC is a high Liquid Gold daughter with gRZG 152 and Col Aluna-Red (Kanu) also has a very high index:  gRZG 152!

Green-Valley Allure has proven to be an investment for a lifetime at Voorhof Holsteins . The Allure cowfamily will get enormous influence in this herd and on R&W breeding programmes!
