Den Hamer: genomic results triplets

A little while ago we mentioned the birth of “Unique triplets at Den Hamer Holsteins!”. The birth of triplets is rare, but these triplets are born out of 1 implanted embryo. How often does that happen?
The genomic results of these three calves, named “Crescent Moon”, “Full Moon” and “Waning Moon”, proof that they are really born out of one single cleaved embryo. As well on German as Dutch basis they have identical genomic breeding values; +143 GRZG & +277 GNVI. On the right, below "Attachments", you can find their full genomics proofs.

The triplets are sired Smile P RF and their dam is Den Hamer Red Hot Warsau Red, a high Perfect Aiko daughter from a VG-85 Fidji daughter of Bonhill Warsi 55 RDC VG-88 (Ramos x Bonhill Warsi 19 RDC EX-90). Warsi 55 is also the dam to the proven bulls Bonhill Painter P Red (Lawn Boy) and Bonhill RUW Target Red (Tableau) and the popular bulldam Bonhill Warsi 124 RDC TY. This VG-85 classified Snowman daughter is owned by Red Rocks Holsteins and is the dam to Red Rocks Effort (Ellmau), the former #1 genomic bull in the Netherlands and Germany, and Red Rocks Lazar P Red (Label P). A full sister to Warsi 124, De Volmer Warsi RDC VG-86, is the dam to De Volmer Warsie 2 Red (Ellmau) owned by Molenkamp Holsteins and Anderstrup Dreamgirl Red (Perfect Aiko) from Anderstrup Holsteins.
