De Wijde Blik & New Moore successful at provincial championships!
B&W Junior Champion: De Wijde Blik RS Betty 2
Recently during the annual provincial championships of the Heifer Show Overijssel & Flevoland, the GenHotel members De Wijde Blik and New Moore Holsteins participated in the show ring. The young participants found their way to success with their heifer calves and maiden heifers and went home with big awards.
One of the championships fell into the hands of Sandy-Valley EQ daughter De Wijde Blik RS Betty 2. Betty 2, shown by Jarn Gunnink, is a direct daughter of the VG-85 Willem's-Hoeve Rapper daughter De Wijde Blik RS Betty 1. At the moment her son, De Wijde Blik Bett Rf (by Developer), is stationed at KI Kampen. Through several generations of high classified dams, the EQ daughter bred by De Wijde Blik hailes from the Southland Dellias. After reaching the finals, Betty 2 was named B&W Junior Champion!

Dam De Wijde Blik RS Betty 1 VG-85
The very dairy New Moore Jan Maria 526 of New Moore Holsteins reached the B&W senior finals. Maria 526 is a daughter of a natural service bull and comes from a first calver Atwood. Granddam is a GP-83 Vekis GenDairy Omani daughter which has produced 60,522 kgsM with 4.70% fat and 3.73% protein in five lactations during her lifetime! The one-year-old Maria 526 was introduced to the judge by 13-year-old Mariesa Gunnink. In her class, they placed second behind the two-months-older Woodcrest King Doc, owned by the Zomer family. This competing duo also formed the leading-duo during the finals, with which New Moore Jan Maria 526 was crowned Res. B&W Senior Champion.

Also in the Red Holstein competition De Wijde Bilk Holsteins made its way to the top with a full sister of sire De Wijde Blik Cor @KI Kampen! Their dam is the VG-85 scored De Wijde Blik Corrie 676 RDC s. Reflector, maternal sister to dam is the successful Crown-Red daughter De Wijde Blik Corrie 679 Red VG-89! Shown by Yvon van Ommen, Corrie 676 RDC VG-85's Rubels-Red daughter De Wijde Blik Corrie 680 won the Res. R&W Senior Championship.
