150,000 kg of milk for 12-yrr-old Holbra Malon 6 RDC VG-86!
Holbra Malon 6 RDC VG-86 (v. Wilder Kanu P Red)
The durable Holbra Malon 6 RDC VG-86 (s. Wilder Kanu P Red) has achieved another fantastic production milestone. After the 12-year-old home-bred cow from the Holmer family already touched the magical limit of 10,000 kg fat + protein last summer, she has now also crossed the impressive threshold of 150,000 kg of milk!
Malon 6 RDC is now 12 years old, making her a textbook example of longevity. She is one of the seventeen offspring of Holbra Malon VG-87 (s. Man-O-Man), an influential breeding cow from the well-known Holbra Holstein herd.
Looking further into the pedigree of Malon 6 RDC, we encounter a rich line of generations that excel in both production and type. Behind the Man-O-Man dam is Holbra Pam VG-87 s. Mascol, followed by Sunday ALH Prudence VG-88 (s. Durham). The pedigree thus traces directly back to the legendary American Prudence family.
With this milestone, Malon 6 RDC and the Holbra breeding program once again prove that longevity, high components, and fantastic performance go hand in hand.
