With her striking conformation and pitch-black appearance, HWH Ecaterina VG-85 immediately catches your eye. Born in 2023, the Comeback daughter was bred by HWH Holsteins and traces back through her dam, HWH Elina P RDC, to Caudumer Spark Ernestine P Red VG-86. Ernestine was purchased by HWH Holsteins as a young, red and polled Spark Red daughter at the 2020SonderKollektion sale. With 159 gRZG at the time, she was one of the notable animals offered at the sale.
That investment has clearly paid off. Granddaughter Ecaterina combines a strong pedigree with great indexes as well. In her second lactation, she produced 7,201 kg of milk in 200 days, with 4.01% fat and 3.60% protein.
The next generation is already making its mark as well. HWH Elea, a Sainz P RDC daughter out of Ecaterina, reached the top of the female rankings with 159 gRZG. Her full sister HWH Europa RDC is also among the top-ranking females. Thanks to Europa’s red factor combined with her very high RZG, she can expect considerable breeding interest. She tests at an impressive 159 gRZG too, with a balanced and flawless profile. With these strongly testing daughters from Ecaterina, the Ernestine line once again demonstrates its outstanding genetic potential.
Through Ernestine and her dam Caudumer Eladie 1 P, Ecaterina traces back to the renowned Rainyridge Tony Beauty family, a cow family that has produced outstanding breeding animals for generations.
