Strong classification results with four first calvers scored VG-87

Holbra Sancodi 4 classifies VG-87. She is sired by Holbra Sané
With an average score of 85.1 across twelve classified first calvers, the Holmer family of Holbra Holsteins once again demonstrates the consistently high conformation level within their herd. During this classification, no fewer than four 2-yr-olds scored 87 points. Remarkably, the four young cows originate from different branches of the influential Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence family.
One of the highest-scoring was Holbra Sonya 9. With a 'double' Holbra mating, an 88-point udder and a maximum score of 89 for feet & legs, she represents another success within the Holbra Sana line. Her sire is Holbra Adori (KI Kampen), a daughter-proven Stantons Adorable son from Holmer's Malon branch. Her dam, Holbra Sonya 4 VG-87, is a Pinnacle daughter and maternal-sister to Holbra Sonya 2 EX-91. This Casper daughter was among others named Champion Mature Black & White at the Fokveeshow Lochem 2025.
Holbra Sonya 10 RDC (Rubels-Red x VG-86 Blessing) also made an impression. She was classified VG-87, including a great score of VG-88 for frame. Sonya 10 RDC and Sonya 9 share Holbra Sandoya as their great-granddam.

A third member of the Holbra Sana line, Holbra Sancodi 4, was also classified at 87 points, including a maximum score of 89 for dairy strength/type. This Prudence descendant is likewise the result of a mating built entirely on Holbra genetics. Sancodi 4 is sired by Holbra Sané (s. Shakespeare), also originating from the Malon line and currently owned by KI Samen. On her maternal side, Sancodi 4 traces back to Holbra Sancodi VG-88. This Commander daughter has been of significant value to the Holmer family and was named Reserve Champion Heifer at the Fokveeshow Lochem in 2018.
The Malon line also continues to deliver strong results on the female side. No fewer than five of the twelve 2-yr-olds classified during this visit descended from this family. The highest score within this group went to Holbra Malon 49, a Delta Flagstone daughter, who was classified at 87 points. With this result, she represents the 16th consecutive generation within the Malon line to score at least 85 points at classification. Her granddam is the well-known Board daughter Holbra Malon 9 VG-88, who produced six daughters with an average classification score of 87 points.
