Willem's-Hoeve successful at Bloesemshow

The 15th Avond-Bloesemshow, the crowded Dairy Show organised by Breedersclub Midden-Betuwe, last week was very successful for Willem's-Hoeve Holsteins of Dick, Anneke and Wim de Jong in The Netherlands.

The youngest generation De Jong, the children of Wim and Rianne, are also very enthusiastic in the show ring. Nick (3 years) was the youngest participant of the Junior Show and earned with Willem's-Hoeve Denightfull 2141 (v. Duplex) the title Champion Clipping. Daughter Fay (6 years) won with Willem's-Hoeve Rita 2138 (Spark x Meridian) the Champion Showmanship title.

At the milking heifers the well balanced Willem's-Hoeve Bailey 1610 (Silver x Doorman) had the best udder of the class and was Honorable Mention at the championship final.

Willem's-Hoeve Rita 1562, a very fancy 2nd lactation daughter of the homebred AI-bull Willem's Hoeve Extreem RDC (Acme RDC x Sanchez Rita 579 EX-91), was also honored for best udder of the class and chosen as Reserve Intermediate Champion.

The Senior Champion title was conquered by Willem's-Hoeve Rita 9863, the tremendous framed Danillo daughter which was in great shape again this time and had the best udder of the eldest cow class. Rita 9863, a maternal sister of proven sire Willem's-Hoeve R Browning, was in 2017 also chosen as Grand Champion and Miss Betuwe during the Avondbloesemshow.
