Yesterday was classification day at Molenkamp Holsteins. And with great results. 11 R&W 2-yr olds are classified with an average of 86.3 points and their 15 B&W herdmates classified 85.2 points. The R&W cows at Molenkamp average now 85.1 points and the B&W’s 85.4!

Three 2-yr olds are classified with the very high score of VG-88. These cows are Molenkamp Klaske 8 VG-88 (Charity Gratis x Goldwyn x Restha x Champion x Alta Klaske 1), Molenkamp Shelby 1 VG-88 (Emerald x Baxter x Lucky Mike x Alta Shelby 1) and Molenkamp Grietje 139 VG-88 (Fidji x Molenkamp Grietje 58).
Grietje 58 turns out the be a very good broodcow. A full sister to Grietje 139, Molenkamp Grietje 137, scored VG-86 and her Durable daughter was also classified VG-86.
