“Team Colmar” the Netherlands
Barendonk Emma 220 EX-91
A total of 18 Dutch cows are selected for the European Championships. 13 B&W and 5 R&W Holsteins cows will represent the Netherlands June 17 & 18 in Colmar, France. Nico Bons (Bons Holsteins) is the main exhibitor with 5 cows. Among others Bons Holsteins Koba 191, the reigning NRM Champion, is one of the cows that is selected.
The last EK took place in 2013 in Fribourg, Switzerland. At that time Southland Alex Carola 11 of Southland Holsteins was named Reserve Junior 2-yr Old for the Netherlands.
GenHotel members
Among the consignors also a few GenHotel members. Earlier we already mentioned the participation of Giessen Holsteins and Zandenburg Holsteins but also Barendonk Holsteins and De Rith Holsteins will send cows to Colmar.
Barendonk Holsteins is represented by Barendonk Emma 220. The recent with EX-91 classified 3rd lactation Jotan daughter. On behalf of the Rith Holsteins it is De Rith Copakoba 7 who is part of the Dutch team. The pedigree of this Galaxy daughter goes back at Snow-N Denises Dellia EX-95.
Theo van Vliet (Giessen Holsteins) has 2 cows in preparation for Colmar. The 3rd lactation Atwood daughter Giessen Charity 59 VG-88 is accomplished by herdmate Giessen Gorgeous 9. This “Gorgeous” McCutchen daughter is recently classified VG-88 as a 2-yr old. At Zandenburg Holsteins the well-known Meridian daughter Zandenburg Meridian Camilla is fresh again. Camilla looks very good in her 2nd lactation as you can see on the picture below.
