The Red Molly strengthens the Marbella legacy

Alsgaard OH 3STAR Molly Red
With her first classification score of GP-84 and a photo shoot, Alsgaard OH 3STAR Molly Red is the center of attention. The promising Red daughter of Boero RF was bred through the 3STAR Embryo Program and is jointly owned by Alsgårds Lantbruk, De Oosterhof and GenHotel.
Not only does Molly Red boast an exceptional pedigree, she is also proving herself in production. The young first-calver, which calved in early April, recently recorded nearly 45 kg of milk per day on test. Her current 305-day production stands at 10,833 kg milk with 4.09% fat and 3.68% protein, demonstrating her ability to combine elite genetics with strong on-farm performance.
Molly Red was born from the combination Boero RF x 3STAR OH Mariska RDC. Her dam has gained international recognition as a full sister to the Semex sires Mancave RDC, Megarun RDC and McRanger RDC.

The pedigree traces back to the influential foundation cow Gold-N-Oaks S Marbella VG-89, a family that has left its mark worldwide through numerous AI sires, outstanding cows and high-genomic descendants. Through Molly Red, the influence of this successful family continues to expand within the Red Holstein population.
Molly Red is also proving her value as a brood cow. A son by Simply-Red has already been sold to Intermizoo in Italy. Her daughters are showing excellent genomic potential as well. Alsgaard 3STAR Minimo Red (by Clark P Red) achieved an impressive 158 gRZG, while Alsgaard 3STAR Minka RDC (by Hard Rock RDC) reached an outstanding 3132 gTPI.
For co-owner and 3STAR Embryo Program participant Alsgårds Lantbruk, these results confirm the success of their breeding strategy. The Swedish dairy farmers continue to invest in elite genetics and is rapidly developing into a herd capable of competing at the highest levels of international dairy breeding.
