Rising star GlH Redford classifies VG-89!
Cow family of GlH Redford stamps!
GlH Redford, a top young genomics sire, made a remarkable breakthrough in 2023, emerging as one of the highest gRZG and conformation bulls in Germany. He consistently maintained this high ranking across multiple proof runs, establishing himself as one of the first and highest-ranking sons of Ranger Red at that time. At just three and a half years old, Redford boasts a VG-89 classification at his ai stud RBW, and several of his full sisters have demonstrated exceptional milking capabilities and achieving great classification scores as well.
Redford’s lineage traces back six generations to the American brood cow Des-Y-Gen Planet Silk RDC EX-90. His granddam, Schreur Vision Red (Styx Red x Schreur Sunny RDC), was acquired as an embryo by Redford's breeder, Geestland Holsteins. She has since developed into an exceptional dairy and breeding cow with a VG-88 classification. Among her at least nine female descendants, her Trent-Way-Js Ronald RC daughter, GlH Ronald Aura Red, stands out. Aura Red, who was scored as a 2-yr-old with a VG-86 rating, not only produced the top sire GlH Redford but also had five full sisters. Four of these sisters were scored with VG-86 AV (1st lactation), boasting an impressive average udder score of 86.8!

The Funck family, owners of Geestland Holsteins, successfully bred a red heifer calf from GlH Happy Day Red VG-86 (Ranger Red x Ronald Aura Red). This calf sired by Siemers Game Pike 35658 RC achieved impressive scores of 153 gRZG and 2930 gTPI. Currently, Redford tests 150 gRZG, with 139 gRZM and 127 gRZE (132 MTY & 122 EUT), along with 132 RZS.
