3STAR Poppe Gigantic debuting proven top sire
The April 2026 proof run marks a new international milestone for 3STAR Poppe Gigantic (Gladius x Durable). The proven sire is now ranked as the number 1 proven Holstein sire in Spain and has also moved into the absolute top ranks of Holstein Interbull lists in multiple countries.
Gigantic, marketed in Spain through Xenetica Fontao, is proving that his genetic potential translates exceptionally well into high-performing daughters on an international level. In the Netherlands, he enters the rankings immediately as the new number 8 Interbull NVI Holstein sire based on his first milking daughters. In Italy, he ranks as the number 3 proven Interbull sire with 5212 PFT.
3STAR Poppe Gigantic is bred by Poppe Holsteins and GenHotel out of Durable daughter Poppe K&L Gorgina. This exceptional cow is also the dam of the well-known sires Poppe 3STAR Magic Bull and 3STAR Poppe Manitu. Manitu in particular is developing into an international top sire himself. In Germany, he ranks among the very highest proven type sires with 133 RZE, while his 138 RZG places him among the elite proven Holstein sires overall.
