Zandenburg Holsteins celebrates double success!

Zandenburg Simply Ebony, scored with EX-90!
The Sommers family of Zandenburg Holsteins celebrated two significant achievements within the same maternal line this week. Zandenburg Simply Ebony received a genomics result of 415 gNVI, while her granddam, Zandenburg Rubels Ebony, was among the first daughters of Hoogerhorst DG OH Rubels-Red in the Netherlands to receive an excellent score!
This week brought great news for the young Simply-Red daughter, Zandenburg Simply Ebony, as her first genomics index of 415 gNVI was confirmed. With a production of 2,058 kg milk, 1010LVD, great fertility, and excellent udder health, Simply Ebony ranks among the top red heifers in the Netherlands and Flanders. Her RZG index is also expected soon, and its arrival is eagerly anticipated.
Simply Ebony is from the second natural pregnancy of Zandenburg Donald Ebony P Red GP-82 (VG-88 Ms), who concluded her first lactation in 305 days with 12,167 kg of milk. Her dam, Zandenburg Rubels Ebony comes from Rubels-Red x VG-88 Concert x GP-83 Danno x EX-90 Snowman x EX-90 Twister. Last March, this impressive cow calved for the third time at 4.08 years. In the 963 days she has been producing so far, Rubels Ebony has already achieved a remarkable 45,849 kg of milk and is currently averaging over 79 kg of milk per day! Just yesterday, after enduring particularly hot summer days, the third calver from Sommers received an awarding EX-90, with an exceptional EX-93 for her dairy strength!
Alongside news from the Ebony line, we also received updates on Zandenburg Hardin Fabiola, a daughter of the American sire Beyond Overdo Hardin (by Overdo). This heifer calf tested with a gNVI score of 438 gNVI, making her the great-granddaughter of Zandenburg Jacuzzi Fabiola 3 Red VG-87 and truly one of the absolute top heifers for gNVI.
