3STAR Kontika Red EX-90
A remarkable milestone has been accomplished with 3STAR Kontika Red, a 5-yr-old daughter of Bentehoek Andy Red from the esteemed Wilder Kanu cow family. This result from the 3STAR EmbryoProgram was born in March 2020 at one of GenHotel's partner farms. After a brief transition, Kontika Red moved to the Goesten family's farm, where she freshened two years later. She has now solidified her status as the first excellent scored Andy-Red in the Netherlands!
3STAR Kontika Red is born from an embryo transplantation resulting from the pairing of Andy Red x K&L SK Kontiki Red (by Silky Red). Her maternal-sister, 3STAR Kanucy Red (by Percey Red), is the dam of the renowned German AI sire Casillas Red. In just four generations, their lineage directly traces back to the acclaimed brood cow Wilder Kanu RDC 111 VG-88. This exceptional lineage has also produced notable bulls such as Wil Baymax Red, Wil Matt RF, Wil Paladin, Wil Slut, and Wil Pasco.
As a 2-yr-old, Kontika Red already achieved a VG-88 classification, highlighting her superior quality and the breeding strength of the Kanu family. She has since matured into a awesome dairy cow, elevating her score to EX-90, with exceptional ratings of EX-92 for Feet & Legs and EX-91 for Dairy Strength!
