Poppe Shania P RDC raised her score to VG-88
The Delta Drone PP-Red daughter Poppe Shania P RDC, owned by the Poppe family, was classified last week with an outstanding score for conformation. Her red factor and polled genetics, combined with an attractive NVI profile, led to Shania P RDC being selected as a bull dam. This has already resulted in two sons entering AI.
This 2-yr old originates from the Sanderij Massia Sneeuwwitje RDC line of the Massia family and represents the 10th consecutive VG/EX generation, scoring 88 points, including a maximum VG-89 for udder. With granddam Poppe Salinda RDC VG-87, a new and successful NVI generation was established at Poppe Holsteins. Notably, Poppe Sascha P Red a daughter of Delta Warren P RF is the maternal-sister to Shania. She is known for being the former No. 1 red and polled based on gNVI. Two of Shania's sons have been sold to KI Kampen.
Several sisters of Shania P RDC also performed very well during the same classification. Her first-calf sister Poppe Sharon RDC, a Delta Appetizer RDC daughter, was classified VG-85, including VG-87 for udder. Another sister, Poppe Sylvie (sired by Delta Warren P RF), received VG-88 for dairy strength and finished with VG-85. Their second-calf dam, Poppe Salma RDC (by Midwolder Martin), improved her score to VG-86, with VG-89 for udder.
The renowned Fienchen family also delivered excellent results at this classification. Poppe Fienchen 2456, a VDR Shakespeare daughter that calved in May, was classified VG-86 and got VG-87 for feet and legs. Her dam is a VG-86 Apoll daughter, tracing back to the influential brood cow Poppe Fienchen 803 RDC VG-86, the foundation behind many top sires such as Poppe Efrain, Poppe Frisk Red, Poppe Freestyle-Red, and Poppe Flight Red.
Finally, the Glamour-Red daughter 3STAR Poppe Alda Red, a maternal-sister to 3STAR Poppe Skala PP @RinderAllianz, received a score of VG-85, including VG-87 for feet and legs. This red-and-white Willsbro K&L Nugget Aderyn RDC descendant is closely related to several well-known sires, including Visstein K&L Money P Red, 3STAR HLB Rio Red, K&L Sv Adrian Salvatier, and Visstein 3STAR Iconic P Red.
