Kanu RDC's granddaughter thrives at Wilder Holsteins

WIL Kalu P Red was one of the first photographed milking daughters of 3STAR Tirsvad Member PP Red. The well-developed Red Holstein from Wilder Holsteins calved for the second time last May at approximately 2 years and 10 months of age, confirming her promising development.

Her sire, Member PP Red, is among the most exciting polled Red Holstein sires in Germany. As a homozygous polled (PP) sire, he combines modern type with an outstanding all-round breeding profile and is now used extensively in several countries. In Germany, he currently ranks as the #1 homozygous polled sire with 135 RZG.

On the maternal side, WIL Kalu P Red traces back to an exceptional cow family. She is a VG-85 (VG-86 MS) classified daughter of WIL K25 Red EX-90 (by Brekem RDC), a proven brood cow that has already produced several AI sires. Granddam Wilder Kanu RDC VG-88 has earned an international reputation as one of Europe's leading Red Holstein brood cows, producing more than ten AI sons for stud organizations in seven different countries.

With this pedigree, WIL Kalu P Red represents one of Europe's most successful (red) cow families. She also follows in the footsteps of her ancestors for production, completing her first 305-day lactation with 10,617 kg of milk at 4.33% fat and 3.48% protein.
