VG-88 Mask Red daughter tops off classification

The recent classification at Sudena Holsteins delivered an excellent set of results, allowing the Mensink family (together with Willems) to close the year 2025 in style. One of the absolute highlights came from a first-calver Red Rocks Mask Red daughter descending from the influential KHW Goldwyn Aiko RC family.
With a final score of VG-88 (including a maximum of VG-89 for feet & legs), Sudena Amalia Red (Mask Red) clearly impressed the classifier. This result once again underlines the international strength of this cow family. A full brother to Amalia Red is currently stationed in Poland, while her dam Sudena Alice Red VG-86 has been used as a bull dam for KI Kampen as well. During this classification, Alice’s maternal-sister Aimee Red (Rammstein Red) also received her first score, being classified VG-85. Amalia Red’s granddam is the VG-88 Rubels Red daughter 3STAR OH Aileen Red, purchased by the Mensink family at the GenHotel Selection Sale 2020. With this purchase, they added, among others, a sixth-generation descendant of KHW Goldwyn Aiko RDC EX-91 to their herd, closely related to NRP Awesome Amberlee Red EX-91 (Awesome Red x NRP Alisha RDC), Grand Champion, Best Red and Champion Senior Cow at the Friesland Show 2024.

From the herd of Emiel Willems, two Luster-P sisters, directly out of Wilskracht Warsi 879 Red EX-93 (by Bram RF), were classified. The December 2024 calved Wilskracht Warsi 1659 RDC received VG-85, including VG-88 for mammary. Her sister Warsi 1640 RDC went one step further, being classified VG-87, with a maximum score of VG-89 for dairy strength. Unfortunately, we recently received the news that the show and breeding legend Warsi 879 Red EX-93 has been culled at the age of eight. One of her final major achievements, however, remains firmly in memory: winning the Reserve Champion title among the senior Red & White cows at the HHH Show 2020, a performance that will continue to resonate within the breeding world for years to come.

The second-calf cow Sudena Lieke 6 Red (Ranger Red x Surefire) also received an impressive new score of VG-88. This young cow appeared last month in the Ranger-Red daughter group at the HHH Show and participated in several regional shows during the past season. Lieke 6 Red was awarded VG-89 for both dairy strength and udder.
Sudena Marit 11, a second-calver of the home-bred bull Sudena Roderick (Gonzales x Rose RDC VG-89), also improved her score. With an impressive VG-88 and EX-90 for type, Marit 11 once again highlights the breeding power of Rose RDC VG-89 through her paternalline.
Finally, from the joint purchase of Mensink & GenHotel, Salsa P Red VG-87, Spread P daughter Sudena 3STAR Savira Red was classified. She received a maximum score of VG-89 for udder, resulting in an overall score of VG-85. From Savira, a red-and-white Shield RDC daughter has already been born with 155 gRZG and 303 gNVI: Sudena 3STAR Salsa 7 Red.
