The recently photographed Poppe Kanu 2037 RDC VG-86 (Pitcher-Red x Board x Brekem RDC) demonstrates in her fourth lactation exactly why the Wilder Kanu family has ranked among the elite of (Red) Holstein breeding for many years. Over time, this family has developed into one of the major pillars of the European Holstein population at Poppe Holsteins.
With a current lifetime production exceeding 53,500kgM with 4.38% fat and 3.74% protein, Kanu 2037 combines impressive production with flawless conformation and tremendous genetic potential. Her own achievements are remarkable, but equally impressive is the world-renowned cow family from which she descends.
Her dam, Wilder K41 RDC VG-87, developed into a truly exceptional brood cow. This Board daughter produced more than 88,000kgM lifetime production before leaving the herd and gained international recognition as the dam of several AI sires. Among them is the proven sire Poppe Kayne (Jacuzzi-Red), who became one of the most influential Red Holstein bulls of his generation. In addition, she produced sires such as Poppe RUW Allegro and K&L Palace Red, both of which also found their way into international AI programs.

Poppe Kanu 2037 RDC herself has also attracted considerable attention. She was contracted by Veecom as a bull dam, resulting in her son by Madtime being selected for their breeding program and entering service as an AI sire. Meanwhile, her milking daughter Poppe Kanu 2369 P Red VG-86 (Launch PP Red) has been used as an embryo donor, producing several homozygous polled offspring. The highest-testing descendant to date is Poppe Kanu 2654 PP Red (Primetime PP Red), boasting an impressive genomic index of 322 gNVI.
