The second calver HMH 3STAR Flash Red VG-87 2yr
The HMH 3STAR Flash Red (v. Poppe Freestyle-Red) is a beautiful young cow with strong genes. Recently photographed shortly after her second calving, Flash Red has an interesting genetic profile that has made her a popular choice, yielding excellent results for her owners, the Moonen familie and GenHotel. Among her many achievements, her son, GlH Spearmint (by Skat P RDC), is recognized as the number 4 Red genomic sire in Germany.
The success of this cow can be traced back to the French Radieuse, which genes were acquired by Moonen and GenHotel through the contracted Royal Flash RDC. Royal Flash was purchased by Caudumer Holsteins at a German sale in 2018. The combination of Royal Flash with former top sire of sons, Caudumer Solitair P Red, led to the implantation of embryos via the 3STAR Embryo Program within the Moonen herd, ultimately resulting in the birth of Royal Flash's grand daughter HMH 3STAR Flash Red. Flash Red has proven to be the standout cow of her generation being the no. 1 R&W RZG tested heifer of her year and producing over 30 offspring.
On the female side, she has produced impressive daughters by Skat P RDC, including:
- HMH 3STAR Famke RDC – 161 gRZG and 327 gNVI
- HWH 3STAR Fanny Red – 155 gRZG
- GlH Dunja Red (at Geestland Holsteins, Germany) – 159 gRZG and 2955 gTPI
Flash Red impressed with her conformation as well. In her first lactation, she classified VG-87. Following her second calving, she has developed beautifully into a cow characterized by length, youthfulness, femininity, and a well-attached udder.
