Bellawina RDC – a Rainow daughter with lasting impact
De Oosterhof 3STAR Bellawina RDC VG-86, Rainow x Rubels-Red
Former top donor De Oosterhof 3STAR Bellawina RDC was, in her time, one of the most interesting heifer calves in Europe, thanks in part to her impressive RZG and TPI profiles. This Peak Rainow daughter, out of the former number 1 gTPI Red & White female in Europe, 3STAR OH Sunnyside Red, offered new opportunities for De Oosterhof and 3STAR Genetics due to her strong genomics profile.
Bellawina RDC is the only Rainow offspring from the Rubels-Red daughter Sunnyside Red, giving her a unique position. She excelled in particular through her outstanding fat and protein transmission, which is now clearly reflected in her actual production (5.10% fat & 3.84% protein). Brothers such as 3STAR OH Sunnyboy Red and De Oosterhof 3STAR Redbull Red left for AI, while flushes from Bellawina RDC with Rimbot, Romaner RDC, Shield RDC and Orpheus Red on the female side created influence:

From a natural pregnancy, the red-carrier daughter De Oosterhof 3STAR Sietske RDC was born in April 2025, sired by Peak Masterpiece. Sietske tests at 3175 gTPI. Last summer, Bellawina RDC was classified VG-86 (VG-88 F&L).
