World Milkday

Today it is June 1. This day has been declared 'World Milk Day'. World Milk Day was created by the UN twenty years ago to support the dairy sector. As GenHotel, we don't want to just let this day go by, but contribute to the positive message by highlighting our hardworking members and their passionate breeding hobby.

Recently we asked our members which cows are their best production cows. In addition to a high lifetime production, these cows have also had a fantastic influence on breeding within their herd and / or beyond. We have listed these impressive production cows. Most impressive high production cow is Newhouse Sneeker 423 VG-86 owned by Newhouse Holsteins. This cow produces almost 10.000kg fat and protein in her entire life!

This list shows that GenHotel members, in addition to the great breeding and show results, also can breed the best cows on the basis of longevity and health!
