Southland Holsteins amazes with great classification results
Southland Malki Lana classified MAX. VG-89 as a 2-yr-old!
The quality of Southland Holsteins' herd was once again proven by the stunning classification results. The average of the classified 2-yr-olds exceeded the 85 points, and one of the 2-yr-olds was good for a stunning maximum score of VG-89. It even turned out to be an excellent visit for one of the young milking cows!
From the Hanover-Hill Tony Rae EX-96 family, Van Beek owns a first lactation Big Malki. Just fresh, this heifer grows into one of the new herd favorites. For a good reason, because this Malki was good for the maximum 2-yr-old score of VG-89! Southland Malki Lana works hard to follow in her matriarch's footsteps and is now the 13th generation VG/EX from this line.

The granddaughter of the impressive Southland Windbrook Gina EX-92 - HM Intermediate NRM 2017 - Southland Sidekick Gina (by Sidekick) managed to impress with her strongly attached MAX. VG-89 mammary and scored a nice VG-88. From the home-bred Southland Belle family, Southland Malki Belle by Malki received VG-88 (VG-89 TY).
Granddam: Southland Windbrook Gina EX-92 (s. Windbrook)
It is not very common at Van Beek, but when they breed a red and white one then it's mostly a very good one! This one is by the top type sire Cycle McGucci Jordy-Red and is a member of the Apina Massia family. Southland Jordy Maria Red is classified 87 points with a fantastic VG-89 MS! She's backed by a VG-89 Armani RDC x EX-90 Mr Savage RDC x VG-86 Lawn Boy P-Red x VG-89 Talent RDC.
To top it all off, De Belhoeve Rita 2 (by S-S-I Montross Jedi), who goes back to Willem's-Hoeve Rita 3248 VG-86 via a VG-86 Kingpin dam, had an excellent visit and raised her score to EX-90 with EX-MS! This valuable purchase is also the first excellent Jedi offspring in the Netherlands and Flanders! Not only comes Rita 2 EX-90 with a beautiful appearance, she also produces well with a projected 305-days production of 13,424 kgsM with 4.57% fat and 3.62% protein.
