New on GenHotel is Van het Zomerbloemhof owned by the Lahousse-Zomerbloemhof family. In Elverdinge, Belgium they have a herd with over 100 cows. The full sisters Jappelien V/h Zomerbloemhof RDC and Jacolien V/h Zomerbloemhof TR for example hail from the great Kamps-Hollow Durham Altitude EX-95 and KHW Regiment Apple Red EX-96 family. Jappelien is a red carrier and scores +145 GRZG, +2307 GTPI and +299 GNVI. Her full sister Jacolien scores +143 GRZG, +2306 GTPI and +278 GNVI.
Koepon Regenia
Another interesting young heifer is Janina V/h Zomerbloemhof. She is a daughter by Mack from the Koepon Regenina family that goes back at Regan-Joy Durham Regina EX-92 (full sister to Mr Sam and Mr Samuelo). The dam of Janina is Koepon Epic Regenia 115, a VG-85 classified Epic daughter of Koepon Mano Regenia 68 VG-86. Janina scores +2417 GTPI.
14 Generations Excellent
At Van het Zomerbloemhof you can also find the two Sympatico daughters, Irose V/h Zomerbloemhof and Jorigi V/h Zomerbloemhof, out of the Pinehurst Royal Rosa EX-91 family. This family goes all the way back at the historic Audrey Posch, the foundation cow of world’s first 17th generation Excellent cow. The maternal line of Irose and Jorigi also counts 14 generations of Excellent cows (counted from granddam Kingsmill Roy Roulette EX-92). This fantastic family has not many members in Europe.
