New at Genhotel is Huntje Holstein owned by the Oudenampsen family. Huntje Holstein is established in Laren, a small place in the province of Gelderland, on the estate “Verwolde”. At this location the Oudenampsen family run a dairy farm with around 100 cows. The most cows/heifers in the herd hail from the “Huntje Holstein Anemoon” family. Over 60% of the milking cows are descendents from this outstanding family. And because this family is doing so well their influence in the young cattle barn is even bigger. Every animal from this family is named Anemoon and at this moment they already reached to “Anemoon 183”.

The Anemoon family has her roots in the Etazon Warsau VG-87 / Lotje EX-90 family that also appears behind the famous Bonhill Warsi family, known for bulls such as Effort and Lazar P Red. The most influence full cow from this family at Huntje Holstein is with no doubt Huntje Holstein Anemoon 16 EX-90 (Classic x Glory Box x Atlas x Cash x Lotje). Anemoon 16 is a great show- and broodcow and she has left several high classified daughters. She is also the dam to Kylian son Huntje Holstein ACDC, still good for +134 NVI and +111 Conformation.

Genomics
The entry of genomics was a good thing for Anemoon family. Bolt daughter Huntje Holstein Anemoon 161 Red, for example, is one of the most interesting Bolt daughter in the Netherlands. She scores +160 GRZG and +254 GNVI. Her dam is a VG-86 Deputy daughter of Huntje Holstein Anemoon 40, a VG-85 Kylian daughter of Anemoon 16.
Huntje Holstein Anemoon 167 is with +248 GNVI the #2 Detective daughter in the Netherlands. Her dam is a VG-86 classified Danillo daughter of Anemoon 40. A full sister to Anemoon 40, Huntje Holstein Anemoon 38 VG-88, is through her EX-90 Burgos daughter (Huntje Holstein Anemoon 66), the granddam to Huntje Holstein Anemoon 117. This +245 GNVI / +140 GRZG Fraiko daughter is recently fresh and looks very good. She already has a high Riverboy son and will be flushed again.

Another, relatively unknown, maternal line of the Anemoon family that entered the limelight more recently runs through Huntje Anemoon 17 VG-86, a Lichtblick half-sister to Anemoon 16. The high GNVI bull Huntje Holstein Armada RF hails out of this maternal line. Armada is a red carrier Balisto son and scores +296 GNVI. His dam is Huntje Holstein Anemoon 83 VG-85 (Mr Savage x Fidelity x Anemoon 17). Anemoon 83 is also the dam to Huntje Holstein Kavage P Red, a +273 GNVI Kanu P son and the #1 Polled R&W bull for GNVI. A +275 GNVI Colorado of Anemoon 83 is sold to CRV as embryo. She is a half-sister to Armada RF and Kavage P Red.
