Marion P Red continues family legacy

The Willem’s Hoeve Marcia P RDC VG-86 branch from the renowned Apina Massia family is once again attracting a lot of attention. With bulls like RVB Rocket P Red at KI de Toekomst and the very high-testing Waldclass Bueno Red in Germany, this Dutch red cow family continues to demonstrate its deep-rooted genetic potential.

This is further underscored by the second-calver Ritmaster Marion P Red VG-86, a daughter of Launch PP Red, who was recently selected as a bull dam. The dairy-typical Ritmaster Marion P Red VG-86, owned by Ritmaster Holsteins, descends directly from K&L RM Marith Red, a Jacuzzi-Red daughter. This 84-point scored Marith, already as a young heifer calf, earned a strong reputation as one of the highest-testing red heifers for gNVI, combined with a high RZG index. Thanks in part to this impressive genetic foundation, she has undergone intensive flushing and has now produced over twenty offspring, including the aforementioned RVB Rocket P Red at KI de Toekomst.

The females in this line are also distinguished by high components. For example, Ritmaster Marion P Red is projected to produce 11,050 kg of milk with 4.55% fat and 3.73% protein over 305 days in her second lactation. She has also been selected as a bull dam; a homozygous polled son from her will soon be introduced at KI de Toekomst.
