Grietje 13 produces 10.000 kg fat and protein!
The broodcow of the Molenkamp Grietje dynasty, Molenkamp Grietje 13 VG-85, has recently produced over 10.000 kg of fat and protein. The Cash daughter calved for the first time in January 2011 at 1.11. She started her current (13th !!!) lactation October 2014 at 14.05. In the meantime she calved almost every year. A unique performance from the 15 year old Cash daughter. Grietje 13 has an incredible number of offspring in the herd of Molenkamp Holsteins and this number is growing every year.
Broodcow
Grietje 13 is the broodcow of the very successful Grietje family. Her Major daughter Molenkamp Grietje 23 VG-87 is the dam of Molenkamp Grietje 28 VG-89, the well-known Jocko Besne daughter and the dam of Molenkamp Farfan (Classic) and Molenkamp Andy RC (Goldwyn).
Almost every Grietje cow in the herd of Molenkamp Holsteins traces back to Grietje 28. Although she is heavenly flushed she still managed to produce over 65.000 kg of milk in 5 lactations.
