VO Mabel VG-85 delivers on her promise

A successful partnership starts with confidence in outstanding genetics. VO Mabel, a 3-yr-old Geronimo daughter, is a perfect example of that. Sold as an embryo through the 3STAR BreedingProgram, she found her way to Germany, where she was purchased by the German breeding organization VOST. Since then, she has developed into a highly promising young cow that is more than living up to expectations.
VO Mabel is one of seven Geronimo offspring from 3STAR OH Maddy (AltaZazzle). Classified VG-85 in her first lactation, she combines an attractive type with excellent production. During her first 305-day lactation, she produced 8,403 kg of milk with 4.99% fat and 4.02% protein. Her full sister, 3STAR OH Maddymo, is also performing exceptionally well in the Netherlands. She was likewise classified VG-85 as a first-calver and has produced offspring that rank highly in both the Dutch NVI and German RZG systems.
VO Mabel is due to calve for the second time this September. Meanwhile, she has already made her mark on the next generation. Her son Snapshot, by Surfer, has entered the VOST breeding program and brings in impressive figures, including 152 gRZG, +1,181 kg milk, +0.50% fat, +0.13% protein, and 129 gRZE. These results clearly demonstrate that he is continuing the strong transmitting ability of both his dam and the generations before her.
VO Mabel traces back to the internationally renowned Maybelline Tual cow family, a family that has earned an outstanding reputation throughout Europe for producing elite females with top rankings across multiple breeding systems, while also delivering numerous influential AI sires. The success of VO Mabel once again highlights the strength of the 3STAR EmbryoProgram: genetics with international potential that prove themselves not only on paper, but also in practice—both nationally and internationally. The partnership between GenHotel and VOST illustrates how carefully selected embryos can develop into the foundation of a new generation of influential individuals.
