Get ready for the Koepon Sale on Thursday, October 8, 2026! This exclusive online sale will feature almost 50 lots from some of Koepon’s most desirable and proven cow families. From young stock bulls and high-genomic young calves to milking cows and fresh 2-yr-olds, the sale offers a diverse selection for breeders looking for exciting genetics backed by proven cow families.
Wednesday, October 7 – Doors open at Koepon
One day before the sale, on Wednesday, October 7, Koepon will open its doors for an Open Day featuring an afternoon and morning program of interesting presentations. Visitors will have the opportunity to view the sale animals in person, while a series of presentations will take place both in the morning and afternoon.
Morning program | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 10:00 AM – Welcome and opportunity to view the sale animals
- 11:00 AM – Welcome & sale information by Marcel Rijkers – Koepon Veebedrijf
- 11:05 AM – The added value of genetics by Jordi Berends – Alta Genetics
- 11:20 AM – The best genetics deserve the best start by Klaas-Willem Nieuwland – SCCL
- 11:40 AM – Collaboration between Bons & SCCL by Nico Bons – Bons Holsteins
There will be an opportunity to view the animals before and after the presentations. The selection includes both youngstock and milking cows.
Afternoon program | 2:00 – 4:00 PM
The program above will be repeated in the afternoon, with the presentations taking place from approximately 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
Please note: registration for the Open Day on October 7 is required. Please register by Thursday, October 1, and indicate whether you would like to attend the morning or afternoon session.

The Koepon Sale 2026 will take place entirely online via FarmersBid.com. Log in from your computer or smartphone and join the bidding from wherever you are. The sale starts at 8:00 PM CET.

The Koepon Sale offers a unique opportunity to acquire genetics from the herd where Lakeside Ups Red Range VG-86 – Dutch Cow of the Year 2026 – was developed into the outstanding cow she is today.
A total of 47 lots from seven cow families are currently scheduled for the sale. The selection includes offspring from renowned Koepon families such as Koepon Classy, Koepon Shottle Genua 1 and KNS Daybright, as well as offspring from the family of Red Range, the current queen of the Koepon herd.
