Caught Your Eye leaves an unforgettable legacy

An era comes to an end with the passing of Ladyrose Caught Your Eye EX-95 (MS-96), one of the most influential show cows of her generation. The exceptional McCutchen daughter not only made her mark in the show ring but also became an outstanding brood cow. Her influence on the Holstein breed is undeniable, and her legacy will continue through generations of successful descendants around the globe.
Caught Your Eye was a cow of exceptional quality. With three All-American titles and three World Dairy Expo class wins to her name, she proved her outstanding qualities time and again. Her impact as a brood cow was equally impressive, exceeding all expectations. Her offspring have excelled in both conformation and genetics, with an impressive achievement so far with 25 EX-scored and 34 VG-scored daughters. In addition, seven of her sons are now working at three different AI studs.

At GenHotel, we continue to follow the next generations of this remarkable cow family with great interest. A great example is 3STAR Caught Our Eye, an Oakfield Magic daughter out of Genosource Hide Out VG-89, imported as an embryo by GenHotel. Hide Out is a direct daughter to Caught Your Eye and has already made a name for herself with outstanding achievements. As a milking yearling, she produced an impressive 14,801 kg of milk with 4.00% fat and 3.30% protein. In 2025, she was also nominated All-American Milking Yearling and Reserve All-National, and placed fifth at the World Dairy Expo. Part of her success is the fact that she scored a maximum of VG-89 as a 1-yr-old!
Through 3STAR Caught Our Eye, we are continuing this exceptional cow family. Embryos out of her by sexed 3STAR Arjo Red & sexed Kings-Ransom Cocoa are now available in the GenHotel EmbryoSale. A great opportunity to build on a cow family that has proven its outstanding qualities on an international level! The 11-month old Caught Our Eye is photographed and her picture will be released soon!
Although Caught Your Eye is no longer with us, her influence on the Holstein breed will be felt for generations to come. An extraordinary legend whose story is far from over.
