Classification reflects the huge influence of KHE I'm Good!
KHE I'm Good was able to increase her score in her third lactation
During a recent classification day at Poppe Holsteins, bull dam and brood cow KHE I'm Good confirmed her significant influence. She was re-scored herself and her offspring achieved impressive scores as well. Currently, there are embryos available from the new classified I'm Good.
In addition to the successful results of the first calvers, the current group of 70 two-yr-olds at Poppe managed to achieve an average daily production of 40.5 kgsM with 4.09% fat and 3.53% protein. This is an impressive feat as they surpass the production of the group with second calvers and almost equals the daily production of the total of 47 seniors in this barn.
The highest scored 2-yr-old is sired by Woodcrest King Doc direct out of KHE I'm Good. Poppe 3STAR Galantis was flushed to the Italian bull All-Nure Wendat, which resulted in three offspring. Galantis was good for VG-87 with a maximum score of VG-89 for her mammary. The granddaughter of I'm Good, 3STAR Poppe Gettie (Manhattan x Durable), received a score of VG-86 with VG-88 Dairy Strength. Her dam is Poppe K&L Gorgina, also the dam of bulls 3STAR Poppe Gigantic and Gettie's full brothers 3STAR Poppe Manitu and Poppe 3STAR Magic Bull. A maternal-sister, 3STAR Poppe Gazelle, by KAX Gladius also received her first score of GP-84 (VG-88 DS). The third calver bull dam and a important brood cow, KHE I'm Good (by Gymnast), managed to increase her score. The dam of Poppe K&L Sanchez P RDC and Poppe K&L San Remo, among others, received VG-88 FR, EX-92 DS, EX-90 MS GP-83 FL, which earned her a total score of VG-88. At the moment, there are embryos of I'm Good VG-88 for sale, produced with sexed Siemers Rengd Parfect (see lot 793).
Poppe K&L Gorgina (Durable x I'm Good VG-88)
Poppe Sneeker 2206, a member of the Sneeker cow family, has received her first classification score of VG-87 with a maximum score of VG-89 MS. She is sired by Big Malki and a daughter of Poppe K&L Sneeker 8918 VG-88. On the day of classification, one of the scored heifers was Poppe Fienchen 2176 RDC, a GGA Palmer daughter with VG-86. This 2-yr-old is a member of one of the most influential families in the Poppe herd. She comes directly from Poppe Fienchen 1569 Red VG-85, who is the dam of Poppe Flight Red, Poppe Freestyle-Red, and Poppe Swinglook Red. Poppe Fienchen 2199 P Red, a SFH Sailor PP maternal sister, was also scored and got VG-85 (VG-88 DS). Embryos from this line are available in the GenHotel EmbryoSale.

The first daughters at the homebarn of Poppe Freestyle-Red were scored as well. One of them, Poppe Red Hot Peggy (co-owned by Red Hot Holsteins), descends from Rabur Outside Pandora EX-91 and comes from a long line of conformation-strong cows. Peggy received a score of VG-86. Another daughter, Poppe Red Hot Rita 2178 Red, received a score of VG-85 with VG-88 DS. Her pedigree includes Poppe Red Hot Rita 860 Red VG-85, the well-known Dutch production cow.
