A VG-88 2-yr-old score for Drouner Aiko 2010 Red
Drouner AJDH Aiko 1267 P-Red EX-90 breeds top descendants!
During a recent classification at Drouner Holsteins, over 15 cows received top scores. The highest score of the 2-yr-olds was awarded to Aiko 2010 Red, a Ranger-Red daughter. Aiko is a descendant of the renowned show and brood cow Drouner AJDH Aiko 1267 P-Red EX-90!
During this classification round, Drouner Aiko 2010 Red emerged as the highest-ranked 2-yr-old, achieving a score of VG-88and a maximum of VG-89 DS. This heifer, who calved in January, is the result of VG-86 Crown-Red x King Royal x Drouner AJDH Aiko 1267 P-Red EX-90 - the Reserve Intemediate Champion HHH 2017. Another notable cow in the herd is Drouner K&L Aiko 1402 RDC, a daughter of Bestboss, which is also directly out of Aiko 1267 P Red. The sixth calver Aiko was good for VG-89 and received excellent scores for her type (EX-92) and mammary (EX-91).
The first lactation Drouner Aiko 1955 P Red is a daughter of the homebred sire Drouner K&L Augustus P Red and was among the 2-yr-olds with the highest scores. She has a VG-88 Brasil RF dam and descends from the EX-91 Drouner AJDH Aiko 1288 (Olympian RC). With a score of VG-87 (Max VG-89 DS), Aiko 1955 P Red represents the 11th consecutive generation from the KHW Goldwyn Aiko RDC EX-91 line that has a classification of VG/EX.

From the homebred Drouner Mientje family, a Barolo daughter out of Drouner Mientje 1619 EX-92 received a score of VG-87. Additionally, Mientje 2008 achieved an impressive maximum 2-yr-old score of VG-89 for her udder! Her dam is currently the highest-ranking King Doc daughter in the Netherlands. Also within the Mientje cow family, Drouner Mientje 1995 (Dreamteam P RDC x EX-90 Pepper) was classified with a score of VG-87.

Tracing back to the American line of Larcrest Cosmopolitan VG-87, the second calver Barolo daughter, Drouner Cosco 1877, successfully improved her score from VG-87 to VG-89. Her granddam is the maternal-sister of Drouner AJDH Cosmo EX-92, a Mogul daughter who won the Reserve Intermediate Championship at the HHH in 2019.
