VOST Select Sale tops with € 23.000!
This year's VOST Select Sale ended with great sales results. This year's best seller was lot number 27 De Oosterhof 3STAR Julie P Red with € 23,000, which was sold to the Netherlands!
De Oosterhof 3STAR Julie P Red is the current number 1 Tirsvad 3STAR Member PP Red daughter with 161 gRZG. The polled Kamps-Hollow Durham Altitude RDC EX-95 offspring also tests 2783 gTPI and 286 gNVI. Partly because of these indexes, Julie P Red was offered at this sale with a total value of € 28,100 embryo contracts. The granddaughter of well-known brood cow Batouwe Ailisha Salva Red VG-85 will continue her way to a Dutch breeding organization.
Topseller lot 27, De Oosterhof 3STAR Julie P Red
The top seller was followed by lot number 52, Manders Marjon 1 PP RDC, which was sold for € 20,000. Marjon 1 PP RDC (by Warren P RF), bred by Manders Holsteins, impressed with her sky-high gNVI score, making her the number 1 polled & red factor in Flanders/The Netherlands. This descendant of the Midwolder Marjon/Remarlinda cow family tests 359 gNVI with a lifespan of 409 days and 561 INET.
Lot 52, Manders Marjon 1 PP RDC, switched hands for € 20.000
With a price of € 4,400, the best-selling milker was a 2-yr-old of the German Hobbie family, lot 29 Nancy. The Delta-Lamda is a granddaughter of GOL Nachtigall, Germany's "Cow of the Year 2021" and bull dam of several daughterproven bulls. This beautiful milking heifer with a lot of show potential and style finds her new owner in Belgium.
For the amount of € 6,500, WEH Let's Rock (lot 34) was sold, a Capitol daughter from an impressive index family, namely that of Bertaiola Alexander Lydia VG-88. Together with embryo contracts worth € 6,200, she left for the Netherlands to meet her new owners.
